On this page, you can find the simulation components produced for the MATSim simulation. Each city is provided in two different versions:

1. Road-Based Version

This version has been created based solely on the road infrastructure. Public transport lines using the road network have been integrated into the system.

2. Road + Rail-Based Version

In this version, both road and rail infrastructures have been modeled; in addition, both road and rail public transport systems have been integrated.

Each version includes the network, transitSchedule, and transitVehicle files.

In addition, the Comparison file has been created based on the second version, and the integrated public transport systems have been compared with the real GTFS data. The results are presented in Excel tables.

The modeled public transport lines may still need some improvements. For example, some lines might be partially modeled or missing, which is unfortunately a common situation when working with MATSim. Improving these aspects will lead to more realistic simulation results. Since I am developing these projects on my own, it has not been possible to check every line individually due to limited time.

Furthermore, I plan to share the population and facility files in the near future. However, as is well known, generating a realistic synthetic population is a highly complex process. Therefore, carrying out this step separately for each city requires a significant amount of time and effort. For this reason, the synthetic population data I plan to share does not represent a real population.
